Pep Band Cheers

Hey guys some of you might know that I play in the pep band. I was hoping to get some ideas for cheers at basketball and football games. We currently are trying to develop some in practice and I was wondering if you have an ideas.

How about showing up at some volleyball matches?

Forget cheers. You've got to get them to let you play more, instead of the recorded music. Especially 'Purple and Gold' , it's the one thing UNIQUE about Albany sports - it's called branding the product.

 

I told Kevin once (I live next door to his mother-in-law) that you should record a CD of your greatest hits - an instrumental P&G would sound better than the Earthtones' version, no offense to the vocalists.

when you say cheers do you mean the kind you play on instruments or the kind you yell out loud? If you want to chant something you could look into this:

yes you guys definitly need to get on the same page as the PA guy with the CD player.

 

Its freakin college football already!!

 

Let the band play...screw Avril Lavigne and Jennifer Lopez.

 

Oh and I like the music you guys play when the other team gets a penalty. Just rob some other schools of their band music. Make it sound like a college football game!!!!!!!!!!
