There has been so much talk of UA being beaten in the US News and Princeton Review poll, I thought this might cheer you guys up. I'm a business man. What better way to see where we stand then to ask the fans, right? What better way to ask the fans then with where they put their money? Money talks and bs walks, right? According to my Lids poll, we beat Sienna, Stony Brook and Bingo. The fans love us. The numbers:

 

Albany: 8

Bingo: 6

Siena: 4

I'm in no way intending on raining on our parade, but Buffalo has 15. Considering all they have going for them is being in a BCS conference and that they didn't ditch the Olympic sports for money (unless we gave into unjust Title IX too), that is somewhat understandable.

 

Why hasn't Buffalo had any success athletically as it is?

As far as I can figure Buffalo isn't in a BCS conference in the MAC. They could make it into a BCS bowl but it's pretty unlikely. Boise State became the first team last year other than Notre Dame to make it from a non-power conference.
