Might not get to this game but hopefully there is a decent crowd today. Navy actually played Tulane tough the other night but lost by 2.

On a side note a few days ago Brown tweeted something about how as a coach you can't control injuries. I wonder if Hooley's injury is worse than expected?

Thanks Click! Caught the last couple of minutes when it went from a 20 point lead to "Oh Crap!" at the end. Hopefully a lesson learned about playing the full 40 minutes today.

 

Looking at the stats it looks more like the Luke Devlin we've come to expect - 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Lol, I didn't end up tweeting anything... To busy watching and chatting. I'll make one comment though. The game of college basketball is a 40 minute game, should have never come to what it did. Let's hope this was a lesson learned.

I hear Hooley is out for the year with a leg injury. Tanner moves into the rotation. He looked oretty good tonight, especially on the defensive end.

I think they should as well. Also would love to see a reading program that would encourage students to read a certain number of books and in return they will receive a shirt that would grant them free access to any UA home basketball game.

Great idea - I assume you are volunteering to get this going? Contact varsity club at the alumni association aka Carmelina Morrison to get going. They may not be able to help directly but I'm sure there are people on campus would could.

On the bright side of the Hooley loss, looking forward to seeing more from Tanner (also, this will give hooley more years out of Suero's shadow so who knows, might give him more time to be a star...)

 

Also Unranked Recap: Suero with 11 of the last 12 points, Black is absolutely killing low level competition and things looking up for bigs.

 

Ualbany was well on way to playing an excellent good offensive and defensive game, but the let-up on both ends left them with only an above average offensive rating of 111 and a slightly average defensive rating of 102. Would've been nice to see them lock down a lesser opponent - but I think you'll see this team running away from team better offense much more often then slowing them down on D.
