As terrible as the first quarter was...the rest of the game was a complete 180...not sure why for the last two weeks they've kind of been sleep walking to start the game. I guess against the NEC we are SOOO much better that it doesn't matter as we just turn it on and blow past people but in the playoffs that kind of start wont fly.

Absolute domination for 2.5 quarters today...

The open week looks like it comes at a perfect time next week. Focus didn't seem %100 there the last two weeks and a couple guys looked a little banged up. Hopefully they can come back fresh and play with the hammer down the next four games on the regular season.

CCSU beat the Dukes today for their first win of the year. Everyone in the conference has a loss now except us and Duquesne and Monmouth still have to play in a couple of weeks.

Santillo says the crowd was 6,800 plus today. When I was walking toward the field today I was daydreaming about what Homecoming 2013 will look like. New stadium, CAA opponent...

Only larger crowds

1. Nov. 6, 1978: 7,500 vs. Ithaca

2. Sept. 20, 1975: 7,500 vs. Ithaca

if you want to believe numbers that end in 00

OTOH today's crowd didn't look that big - visitors side 1/2 full, not many on the hill. Maybe they counted all the tickets given away at the alumni homecoming tents - which BTW is starting to look like a homecoming is supposed to.

CCSU beat Duquesne today, Bryant over RMU, SHU stomps Dartmouth, Monmouth loses to Cornell by 3.

The crowd looked pretty big to me. We had 125+ people in the football alumni tent area and there were a lot of people outside the fence on top of the hill.

Talking to some of the coaches after the game they are all frustrated about the slow starts. Part of the issue may be that the kids think they can pull away from anyone in the second half. Which in e NEC is probably true. That won't hold up in the playoffs though.

What I'm sure will be addressed is the fact that the slow starts COULD lose us the championship.

Even if we are the superior team in the NEC, if we don't play complete games, the unlikely could happen.

As for the game, if it wasn't for that 60 yard run score by their RB, they'd only have 6 points.
