UAlbany vs. Maine (2/9/2013)

I am curious as to whether this game will be played given the winter weather that is predicted for the Northeast.

 

If the game is to be played despite the snow predictions, it would seem that a precondition for the game would be for the basketball team to travel to Maine today (or tonight).

 

Any word on whether the team actually departed for Maine today?

 

Any word on whether the America East responded to Coach's inquiry about the Saturday game?

Brown said the team will prepare as if Black will not play, but they will "play it by ear."

Sounds like the game is still going to go on. Funny that they moved the Hartford game to Sunday but everyone else is playing today. I guess maybe it's worse in Hartford.

GDG and I have been to two games at Maine in the past few years and there normally is less than 100 people there during a regular game. Surprised that many showed up today for the 1pm game.

Asked Santillo and he said he's still game time decision. Though even if he's okay to play probably wouldn't be a bad idea to keep it game time so the Black Bears have to prepare for multiple line ups.
