MBB: Purple & Gold Scrimmage & Meet/Greet info

Purple & Gold scrimmage will be on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7:00 p.m., following the homecoming football game against Towson.

 

Brown and the men’s basketball team will also host a meet and greet event on Friday, Oct. 25 at 6:30 p.m.

 

The “meet and greet” will feature a question and answer session with Coach Brown and the players. Individuals and groups interested in attending the meet and greet should contact Director of Basketball Operations Jared Knotts at jknotts@albany.edu.

Nice! Sorry to see they aren't doing the open practice. I thought that was really interesting last year.

 

Was thinking with all the international players on the roster the P+G scrimmage could be like the NHL all-star game, North American players on one team and international players on the other. The international players would be heavy favorites.

No surprise with the Aussies. Hooley has seemed like a captain before he even played his first game. Surprised by Weigmann but credit to him that he's respected by his teammates. I don't remember when we had a JUCO player as a captain before.

Saw it mentioned in one of the captain stories that Devlin's recovering from a dislocated knee cap. Hadn't seen that reported before.
