There have been games in the past not returned. Would think those were quaranteed. Montana. A game in Texas. I don't remember the school are 2 that I remember as 1 game.

Montana paid us, I believe 90k.  Stephen F. Austin paid a small guarantee.

We were offered a small guarantee by Georgia Southern when we were still D-II, we didn’t take it. I assume we got a bigger one when we did play them.

We played Ga Southern.  I was there.  Almost won the game.  Think we lost by a FG.  We received 45k, I think.  We were    In FCS.

Thanks. I didn’t realize FCS schools did that sort of thing. NDSU probably isn’t getting many FBS takers so they have no choice but to look at the FCS level.

That was 2009, I was there too, About ten years earlier they offered $20K, which barely covered expenses. We turned them down.

Hawai’i has cancelled their 22-23 series with Army (‘22 in NY). We don’t have an FBS game that year yet. Both teams have an opening on 9/10/22, though Army has already scheduled Colgate that October. Wish we could get that done.

The D coordinator would start having nightmares in anticipation. Lol. I don’t know about the rest of you, but there’s something elemental and fun about watching old style triple option, double wing and wing-t style offenses.  The service academies no longer have too many of the top level athletes, but they have super conditioned, tough, disciplined and smart players and a fair number of 3 stars....that old school football gives them an edge playing teams that never see it.

I'd rather face Elon than JMU. At least JMU is coming to Albany and we're not going to them.

After Delaware St we should find out pretty quick if the team is any good. That’s a brutal 4 game stretch and oddly enough, UMass might be the easiest W of the 4.
