Game 1: MBB @ Iona 11/09: 8:00pm

Way too many turn overs. Just sloppy and lazy and brutal and careless and terrible turn overs. Offense went south fast without Clark in there. Give the Danes credit they fought right until the end and stayed in it the whole way but I never felt like they would be able to get the lead back once they lost. Just not enough reliable scoring and way too careless with the ball.

I saw a lot of good and many things that I'm sure brown and staff will tease apart. Solid first effort.

This. I'm pleased all in all. I was expecting a 10-15pt loss to be honest.

This is a solid start. Clean up the turnovers. Make sure guys understand their roles (Campbell, play D, don't shoot), etc. and we'll have a great foundation for the season.

For the record I did not think Campbell played poorly.  Mark my words this team will go as far as Campbell with take them. Clark and Healy will get theirs.  The most important player on this team is Campbell.

Also get ready to play 7-8 players again . This team is not deep. The bench looked confused and poor.

He hit a clutch 3 the possession before.

Admittedly I had stepped away from the TV for a second to the kitchen but it doesn't matter. Statistically the 3 is the lowest percentage shot and he was 4-13 on the night (1-3 from 3). So he was 3-10 from inside the arc which is G A R B A G E.

Dude needs to stop shooting. Period.

That being said, he had a great game when it came to defense and rebounding. THAT is his role on this team. He does that and Clark/Healy do the scoring and we will  be GOLDEN.

Give French, desousa and rizzuto some time.

This should be the bottom... They will grow and improve. Brown to good a coach.

He has to shoot.. Defense is playing way off him daring him. He has to hit enough to keep them honest.

Not to mention we have 2 guys who will be back around Christmas, no? Plenty of depth IMO.

True, fair enough...good point. At some point our offense will have to take what the defense gives it...
