Hartford is going to play slower and make us play defense for the entire possession. Our rotation is still a little slow and Hartford will attempt to make us pay.

Hartford can be muscled around. We need to move the ball around quickly and look for the mismatches that will occur. Should be a good game.

I just started watching about half way through the first.  Defense doesn’t look that bad.  Every first switch has been solid, good communication on the switch back. A few break downs late in the possessions, but Hartford is making some tough shots.   With the switch backs determined by the “scout”, they look spot on.  Probably won’t see much in the way of adjustments just better energy and focus.

I'm not sure I agree with this but the reality is they haven't been able to string two good games together all season...I'm not entirely surprised by this so far.

Name a game in this shortened season when they won and did not play well ? I looked at the stats.  You can't.  That's kind of my point.  Good teams / team with heart win games when they have an off night.  We have not all season . Does not mean we can't turn it around in the 2nd have (like Vermont) , but we can't win playing the way we are.

There two bigs were in foul trouble.  The first 10 mins, Hartford had approximately 6 layups and dunks.  They will be back to start the 2nd half but the defense was better with the 2nd string bigs in there.

I don't see winning a game you aren't playing in well as heart. For me playing hard or with hart is an eyeball thing. Are they fighting through not playing well is the effort there? I think obviously it is...they are just getting out-executed by Hartford on offense vs our D. Need to lock in on D...have to!
