At least one UA basketball team can be competitive with a CAA team.  Ladies up 25 with 4 min left vs Hofstra.

Terrific game by the ladies. Watched most of it. 70-41 win! Every phase was great.

Good crowd for a women's game (1097) but probably a quarter were wearing Cambridge orange. Salem School District even had a bus to bring them down. Could almost hear them groan when the PA announcer said Lily Phillips was from "Gren-itch" instead of pronouncing it "green witch".

I hope some of the men's team watched the game in person or on ESPN+ to see how you need movement against a man-to-man(WHOOPS) women to women that creates double--almost triple digit assists.   Great game, great freshman, great vets all playing and encouraging each other.  Great depth on this team--should have a solid season.

That was ugly, ladies lose by 13 to Merrimack, a team transitioning from D2 to D1 after the dominant win vs Hofstra.
