ESPN+ just bombed out again. Assume we lost by about 8? The good: Phillips is going to be a solid PG for us. Once again she was from “Grenitch” NY today. Cooper maybe our best player. Should start. The bad: DesCortes a turnover machine. The ugly: TO’s. If we cut them in half we could havewon. Bring on LCC.

Overall, the box score doesn’t look too bad. Our shooting percentages were better, but they had more opportunities due to superior rebounding. Vandy jumped on UA in the first quarter, but then the ladies pretty much played them even for three quarters. Against SEC competition, that’s pretty good in my book. I think it’s Grenitch every place but Washington County. Lol.

Yes about Grenitch, but you would think the Sefcu P.A. clown could get it right. Vandy lost 48-46 to Arizona, who at the time were ranked #6 in the country. So yes, the ladies did well. LCC on Sunday.

My wife and I went to Colgate Sunday, and the P.A. guy there pronounced Greenwich correctly. So it can be done. Our last home game vs. Bryant I actually wore headphones to drown out the sounds of our screeching PA guy and the incredibly loud and incredibly bad music that must be listened to. This might be an enjoyable experience for 18 year olds but not for 72 year olds like me. Just saying.

I'm no curmudgeon but does it need to be so loud that the speakers are distorting? Seriously, it sounds like on the verge of blowing the speakers.

Is it the same guy that does the football games? The last game I went to was embarrassingly bad in terms of the whole PA experience. I'm an old head banger, but geez......WHY SO LOUD??

Women go wire-to-wire for a 64-44 win, though the final was the biggest margin.

Helene comes thru big time! Good to see. I think she’s been mysteriously sitting on the bench too many minutes. Ahead by 9 at the half and win by 20. Somewhat the opposite of the men. LCC coach outspoken about a “losing environment,” before he took over, and his post game comments contribute to his notion that an 0-8 record is not on him. Terrible. Look forward to Wed. night vs. Canisius.

The LCC coach was there before. Should be very familiar with the environment there. No complaints. Remains perfect on this go-around

I know he was there before, along with many other schools. His resume suggests that these schools got tired of him after awhile. His public comments about his team do not bode well for him or his team. But enough of LCC. We are 4-4 with momentum!
