Anyone have any inside info on if this game will happen or not? I'm so excited for the start of the conference season.

Not sure if starting against UVM at UVM is a good way to start conference play, or a terrible scheduling draw.

Id assume that Killings will run the team a little differently during Conference play, and potentially surprising UVM without much history of what to expect from the team could be an advantage, but I'd also like to think that the team will continue to improve throughout the year and we may have a better chance later in the year as the team gels. Getting confidence and practice against the easier teams early might have been nice after an ultra hard OOC.

Per today's TU

"America East policy requires that teams play if they have at least eight players and a coach available; teams can play with fewer if they choose.

In Tuesday’s win over Division III Union, UAlbany had exactly eight active players, with five missing due to health and safety protocols.

If games need to be postponed, the schools have three days to agree on a new day and time. Otherwise, the America East steps in. If the conference also finds that rescheduling isn’t possible, the game is ruled a “no contest.”

“Every effort will be made to reschedule postponed games,” a UAlbany release announcing the schedule change stated. "
