SBU will be up for this game. Their season doesn't matter. Several players have left the team. They are losing games they shouldn't. Their energy is low. But they can still get up to play their best vs. UA.

Important game. If the team can finish 2/3 they are in a much better matchup than the likely 4/5 game.

Just curious?? What brook players abandoned ship? And do you know/think they left because of the AmEast tournament snub OR left un-happy with the direction of the team to the caa??  Probably never know; but curious what anyone know/think about these departures..

According to players interviewed the culture under Ford is toxic. It's not the CAA move as much as a team than never came together.

Olyani, shumpert, shumpert, Felix Rodriguez, Jenkins, and rumored to be a few more shortly.

That was an Atrocious  and Pathetic 1st half.  Stony Brook is a shell of themselves.  We have 7 points over the last 12+ minutes and Killings refuses to call his use it or lose it timeout.  We continue to play guys in the first half that have no business playing.

Hopefully we play the right guys in the 2nd half and we make some adjustments.

Well I knew SBU would still find a way to have energy in a rivalry game. What I can't figure out is our team wasn't able to find it. A win here gave them a legitimate shot at the #2 seed and a shot at hosting the league championship game if UVM somehow got upset. I think there is a scenario still alive where they don't even get a home game. Very sad

Missed game because of previous commitment. So glad I missed it. Brook a shell of itself but like a lot of you are saying got up for UA. In-spite of overachieving this year; this UA team should be ashamed of their performance tonight—players & staff ALL.

Some seem to want to cut UA some slack for a number of reasons—-new coach, injuries, too many new players, not enough new players/not enough talent, over achieving,etc.etc.  But at this point in the season in a critical game against a decimated program all the excuses are meaningless. IMHO you just have to win.

OK, I know that we are not a dominant basketball team, and we should not consider games on the schedule as likely or probable wins. BUT......the pathetic home loss to Maine and the disaster that was tonight.......who is more to blame for this, coach or players? This team has no right to think that they can just waltz up and down the court and win, but in my opinion they did just that both times. Should have won both games, and instead of 9-8, we could be 11-6. Can’t throw away games like that.
