Are we even better than that? Pomeroy says we 'hold' our opponents to 59% FT shooting..good for 8th in the country.

8th in FT%, which I would say is not something we really affect (aside from icing opponents by not letting them shoot FTs often), but the 28th is the rate at which we send people to the line. We very rarely put teams on the free throw line. The upside is that we haven't seen much serious foul trouble this year. The downside is that sometimes we're just getting burned and just giving up uncontested shots.

Was being a bit tongue in cheek..I understand the stats. :)

Colgate is a very good academic institution. Let's hope that their players are worn out from finals. :P

http://colleges.usne...l-arts-rankings

(ranked #21 for top liberal arts universities in the nation)

Notably, Skidmore and Union are tied for #41 on that list.

A community college from South Latham appears to be #114, and Russel Sage College is #131.

SUNY Purchase comes in tied for last in the tier 1 liberal arts schools at #187.

After re-checking how they played the AE at home this season, this may turn out to be much less of a cupcake that I originally thought.

I feel like I've said this a lot so far this year, but this is another chance at a statement win. What kind of statement does one make by beating an 0-9 opponent you may ask? I say it really shows the maturity of a team to avoid a let down/hangover after a good win and escape trap games of our own. Although the circumstances were a little different given injury and short turn around time, yale was a let down. Yale is a good team, but we had no business letting the wheels fall off that bad. We are in a redemption situation (sort of anyways) against a different team. 5 of 6 is good, but 6 of 7 is better, gotta keep stringing W's together to really get some respect and swagger going into conference play.

Let's keep it balanced on O, focused/clean on D, and we'll be fine.

So in the interview Mike Black says tomorrow night could be a trap game. If he's aware of it does that make it not a trap game? I hope so.

Some nice wins in the AE tonight. Boston U. over St. Joes and Maine over Penn State.

I am trying to email Channelsurfing about getting the game up but for some reason my browser won't let me get through their "offer" page in order to email them. I'm getting together with about 15 UAlbany alumni in Manhattan tonight and wanted to hook the PC up to the TV and get them into it. Can someone either email channelsurfing and request the game be posted or post the email address that I need to email to?
