One of my favorite things from last week was James rushing for 200+ yards and then in the press conference he called Mofor the best running back in the CAA.

We're supposed to have Jake Cook on a visit this week. I'll be eagerly waiting for updates from Dane96 and co.

Thanks for posting this. Interesting to hear him talk about how long CB has been at Albany and how that figured into his decision. He didn't want to go through a coaching change and the longevity of the staff here helped. Impressed with that line of thinking for a young player. Seems like a great piece to start building around with next year's class.

Hansen is having himself a tour. Last night - 9 pts, 11 rebs and 3 blocks. Tonight - 16 pts and 6 rebs. No Rizzuto tonight?

We were down bigger earlier but the bench is pulling us back. Haven't seen Lulka or Hank in the stats so far.

The way I see the roster: Group 1 - Guys who' are proven contributors at Albany Ahmad Clark Cam Healy Malachi De Sousa Lulka Rizzuto Guys who can make a jump from contributor to all - conference: Any of them. Group 2 - Guys who are proven contributors at D1 other than Albany: Joseph Anderson Romani Hansen Group 3 - Guys who have a proven role at Albany Hank Lauderdale French Guy who can make a jump from group 3 to group 1: Lauderdale Group 4 - Guys who haven't yet had a chance to prove themselves: Mitch Doherty Sam Shafter Trey Hutcheson Guys who can make a jump to group 3 or 1: ???? I see the playing group mostly from groups 1-3. That's 10 guys. Any of the freshman are going to have to be terrific to break into that group. This is far better than last year when we basically had - Ahmad, Devonte and a ton of ??????

According to Verbal Commits we've got an offer out to Jordan Guest. A transfer from Boston U who is going to play JUCO this year.

Reviving and old thread with something OT but Anthony Mack had announced he was transferring from Miami this spring. Yesterday he's announced he's going to forgo his collegiate career and go pro.

According to Twitter, Will Amica will be taking a visit to Albany in the next few weeks.

We're on the McGill University (Canada) schedule for a game on August 19th. Bob needs to find his passport, eh?

I'd like to see them name someone early and then develop them through camp. Give them a chance to work together with the receivers and learn.

Great to see him get a shot. That's the St. Michael's team that knocked off UVM a few years ago.

The downside to having Vermont as the Growl Game is that the Vermont game would draw well anyway. Seems better to have a different team as the BPG game and get the attendance bump for two different games. That said, that game should be electric. I know it will be a year old but on 2/29 we should that Ethan Stark field goal like 100 times on big screen.
