I don't know if it takes them out of the running for Harris or not but Marist announced a commitment for 09 the other day. Sounds like he would play the same position as Harris.

"Smith said he was under the impression that UAlbany has a scholarship available to offer Smith while he sits out next season. But UAlbany currently has 13 players on its roster, presumably all on scholarship, which is the NCAA limit."

TV-13 reported on the 6:00 news tonight that Harris has committed to UAlbany, will sit out a transfer year and has two years' eligibility left.
