BU will be bringing fans to Albany, as they did a few weeks ago.

Are we going to have any fans for the UAlbany side?

It's a bummer when the opposing team comes to UAlbany, and they have more fans than we do.

 

Anyone know if they are moving bleachers around to accomodate the Field Hockey Tournament tomorrow and throughout the weekend?

I'm disappointed that there was no article about UA field hockey in the online version of the TU today. There was a piece about Siena women's soccer and another on UA football.

There was a nice crowd there. Some of the women's lacrosse team, and most of the men's lacrosse team were there... And there was a group of students chanting and starting the wave.

I'm trying to follow the game with UA's gametracker, but I can't seem to get it going. Anyone else able to follow the game? Anyone else having the same trouble?

I don't see on the ncaa site when the pairings are announced. If anyone has that, please post.

An article appeared in the online version of today's TU about the field hockey team. Here's the link:

 

Danes earn first title

 

Don't get too excited when you first look at the length of the article. We share the limelight with the women's soccer team from Saint Rose.

[Patch]

Neither team UA Field Hockey or St Rose Women's Soccer got what they deserved.

 

But they got what most of us expected - just think UA Football wins a Conference Title and a Bowl Bid and they play second fiddle in the TU to Siena's exhibition against a DIII team coming off a losing season.
