If he is that good...he will get solid minutes right away at Albany...and close enough for Mom and Dad to see him play. Plus...he will be on a team that should finish in the top half of the standings during his four year career.

Does anyone know how UNC Greensboro compares to Albany academically? Looks to be a factor in his decision with some of the schools he is/was considering.

Not even in the same stratosphere...unless your using stupid US NEWS etc...rankings.

 

If you are smart in North Carolina-- you are either NC STATE or UNC...period....for state school that is. Everything else is second fiddle in that system. Not that the schools are bad...but if the kid is THAT smart...and wants to work in the Northeast...a UNC Greensboro degree vs. a UA degree isnt going to do squat.

I know that he is constantly in motion, but what if the potential PG is not Randall, but rather is from down there?

I wouldn't worry about Brown finding a PG. I know he and the staff will find someone who can come in and contribute. The hard part is finding someone who will buy into the system and will want to stay and graduate.

Well...Sunday came and went and no sign of a commitment from Randall to UNC-G...depending on how thing work out this week for UA, perhaps he'll remain open and available so we can get him in for a visit should we need to.

I thought we were talking about Randall? That's who I was referring to as not having any interest from Albany on Scouts. I think Black is better than Randall. But we'll see.
