OK, since Game Notes aren't out yet for either team, let's get to the important stuff:

Colgate Tailgating Policy

Highlights:

1. Glass bottles and kegs not allowed, so I'll have to find a decent beer in cans.

2. Limit of a 12-pack per person or car - you know who you are.

3. Tyler's Field lot opens two hours before game time.$5 per car. At our previous game there visitors were in a grass field next to that lot; in earlier years tailgating began three hours before kickoff for night games. Another place on the website says parking is limited, arrive early, so I may be there before 3:00 anyway.

Andy Kerr Stadium is only 102 miles from the Albany campus, so distance is no excuse for locals.

A little background on Colgate:

Picked 2nd in the PL preseason poll behind Lehigh.

Colgate’s fate will rest largely in the hands of Eachus, the standout running back regarded as one of the

top players in the country. The preseason first-team All-American and Walter Payton Award candidate ran

for 1,871 yards and 22 touchdowns last season, and enters the 2011 campaign in range of the League’s

all-time rushing yardage and rushing touchdowns records. He will pace an offense that will need to

replace first-team All-Patriot League quarterback Greg Sullivan but does have four starters back on the

line. The Colgate defense loses Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year Zach Smith and Lamont Sonds

on the line, but has seven starters back including a strong group of linebackers led by Chris DiMassa (92

TT, 9 TFL).

Is there a live internet feed for this game????

Danefan is right, keep their superstar back to 120 yards or less and we win going away. They are one dimensional and hopefully our secondary wont be needed for anything but run support. They have a good sized O-Line so they are a 3 yards and a cloud of dust type of team. as I said on one of the other forums...Can you say 9 in the box?
