MBB: @ Brown 7pm (Tues, Dec 10th)

I guess telling a ref he had a blown call and it wasn't a shooting foul in a dead arena is 'not cheering for your team in a positive manner' wow.. out of 80 roads games never been talked to like that or told to leave if you don't change your cheering style.

Would have been a great game to get a "T" - just add to the legend!

As for the technical this is what I heard and saw.I could have heard wrong but who knows. We were on offense and Will was talking to the ref. The Brown coach yelled at Will to "coach your team". Will turned to him and said something. Then the Brown coach said something with the F-Bomb in it. Will started to walk over to him and the ref gave them both Ts. Their coach was an 04 grad of Brown, my guess he was sucking up to Will in the presser since he is a new coach.

Must say ice never seen this one ref as POed as he was tonight. Same one yelled at GDG and had the staff tell him he couldnt cheer unless it was positive, needless to say, the rest of the game was sarcastic 'that's okay' cheers. Because its the UA fans fault that there are no fans that show up to the Brown game and it was so quiet. Don't want to hear opposing fans, then get your own to show up and cheer. It's D1 ball and these refs need to know their role is on the court.

Also they spent the whole game yipping at the guys to get to the line etc. Never seen a crew act like they did tonight.

Wish I would have been there... Lol

You and me both.

Anybody comment to the refs on taking five minutes looking at replays to decide who would shoot the foul shots for Brown? If it was that obscure maybe there was no foul and they should have waved it off.

HAH!

Did not see the game and only heard some on the radio. Box score shows Mike Rowley making our only "3". Is this correct and those who saw it, did it look legit, or just forced and lucky?? I know we are an inside team [lunch pail like coach says]; but it would certainly help the inside if we could knock down a few three's now and then--at least show the threat.

Oh...MY BAD. I thought he said Sam. I do remember this shot...and it was damn silky smooth going through the net.

Brown had cut the lead to 8 and were on a nice run. Mike made that 3 to get the lead to 11 and then the very next possession made a very Sam-esque move across the lane for a little hook style bank shot. Got the lead back to 13 real fast. That was very nice to see. Glad he and Levan are getting more minutes.

Mike Rowley on a wide-open three fed by Hooley after a drive. It was at 11:08 right after Mike had been called for a phantom foul on a Brown fast-break layup.

Damn, time and photographic evidence! original.gif

One of the reason I liked what I saw from Mike last night. Knocked down the three, made a drive to the hoop and played pretty good post defense.

I think Mike just like Sam was when he arrived, more concerned about fitting in and being a good teammate and he is just picking up the american style of play.

I'm not sure he was considered PAC 12 but I do remember hearing A10.

I'm just hoping that last nights game lights a fire under him to compete now for more court time.

If Mike and Levan can give us solid minutes we will be much improved.

I keep looking for us to develop a "third" scorer and then looking at the stats and we have four guys averaging double figures. It's been a while since that happened.

It seems like a matter of time before our "bigs" start contributing more from the bench. Our guards off the bench are more of a concern. Really hoping it starts clicking for Haas.
