America East Tourney.

Is it true that the first two rounds are weekday games? The schedule on the UA and America East website says the dates are Wednesday (March 2nd) and Monday (March 7th). If that is the case then it is one of the dumbest moves ever and another slap in the face of the fans of this conference. I, and many others who would want to attend from out of town, will not be able to attend either round and that is just effing DUMB!

I'm sure its because we're a low conference and in order to get on ESPN3 and their announcers we need to take the crappy spots.

I guess one way to look at it is that it's just as tough for road fans to get to the early games during the week, gives home court advantage an even bigger boost.

Thanks for the correction. Either way it was on a weekend and my buddies and I were able to attend and be home at a normal time.

I mean the America East has to do what's best to finally get their golden child to the NCAA's right? The two waivers they granted them in '13 and '14 failed. They changed the tournament format last year and failed. Now they have to change the format again. The commissioners office is running out of ideas.

To be honest though, without One Bid Wonders, that's the only blog that is covering the conference on a consistent basis. Obviously there are the papers that follow the individual schools, but nycbuckets is the only blog that takes a look at the whole conference.

Have no problem with the blogs and enjoy reading them as well. Point is if the conference wants to be taken seriously, hire some recent grads to cover the conference instead of using blogs unaffiliated with the conference.

As we get closer to the AE Tourney, don't forget to refresh yourself on the rules including the re-seeding.

For example if in Quarterfinals if the 8 Seed beats the 1 Seed, then the 8 Seed plays the 2 Seed not the winner of the 4/5 game which is what occured pre 2015.
