Screwed? You've got to beat whatever opponent you get. Everyone can complain about some matchup or bracket. Just win. You wanted games against better opponents, now you've got them. Go Danes. Let's pa

We can beat anyone in the country. Bring on 8-7 unc, and then we'll show Maryland they landed in the wrong side of the bracket.

I dont look at it that way. If they didnt play maryland this season and instead played that garbage school from the surburbs and even if albany beats them by 50 we probably dont get a home game. Obvio

Please read Paul Grondahl's story in today's TU (it's not in the sports section -- it's on D-8, in case the link below doesn't work) about Coach Marr's trip with Lyle Thompson and Bill O"Brien (along with Lyle's wife and children) to the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation protest site in North Dakota. (The trip is not associated officially with UA at all -- it's something Coach Marr felt strongly about making.) As usual with Paul's work, it's well-written, and illuminating about lacrosse and these individuals in a way that goes beyond X's and O's, W's and L's. Makes me very proud of the UA lacrosse leadership and program.

From what I can gather it looks like the schedule is the same ooc teams as last year just switching the venue (other than Cuse who hasn't confirmed their schedule):

2/25 @ Drexel

3/4 @ Cornell

3/11 vs. UMass?

3/11 vs. Maryland?

3/29 @ Harvard

4/22 vs. Yale

Both the Maryland and UMass sites show their game against Albany on 3/11 so not sure who has that one wrong at this point.

Maryland lacrosse the biggest name program next to Siena to play at Albany????

Seriously? In what world is Siena a big name?

Princeton, UMass and Denver for starters, along with just about everyone else who ever played here.
