I continue to feel this team is close...they don't know how to win right now, and doesn't know yet how to not turn the ball over at an astronomical rate. But talent is there, need a bit more depth, hopefully Rizzuto and Flory provide that. Bigs really starting to come on, French and Lulka played very well today.

Need another ball handler, Brooks isn't it...desperately need Rizzuto back.

Bad loss. I just keep saying to myself, "young team, inexperienced, it will click soon". Still hard to handle these loses.

As disappointed as I am, I don't see this a bad loss...hopefully they learn from it though. For me, this season more so than any other, the OOC is to get them ready for AE play. We all speculated/knew that this would take time, that they would be very inexperienced. What I'm seeing over and over is a team in every game, fighting and clawing but one that doesn't know how to win yet.

Of the 5 loses, 3 are by 5pts or less and one by 10pts and one by 9pts. They've been in every game 'till the bitter end or close to it just can't find a way to pull one out. I'm encouraged.

Agree with GOOD:  BAD loss. It is in the numbers:  26 turnovers;  Campbell 1-7 overall 0-2 from 3 = we are still playing 4 on 5 offensively and the man he was suppose to be covering 27points-20something in the second half. {Now I only listened to the game on the radio, and I do not really know who Campbell was assigned, but you would think it was the opponents BEST.} More about numbers:  24 & 22 for Clark & Healy that represents 60% of our total score; and of course I am happy with their totals, but that is too high of an %age. Add in 10 to's combined (ps Campbell had 5 also) and it all equates to me a BAD loss.

Hopefully Rizzuto and or Flory can get these stats turned around and MORE wins.

I am NOT discouraged yet; but you, me, all can only use the team is young excuse so long {only Gattuso gets to use it for 5+ years}. The team needs to cleanup and growup and LEARN how to win quickly. I have NEVER been one to agree with "it is all about the AmEast Season /Tournament." But even if I did believe this a team is what it is if it does not or cannot grow every game.

I personally see a significant amount of growth with the exceptions of turnovers...First few games out, our bigs were doing nothing. Today Lulka goes out and gives you 15 and 13 is just one example. Haley appears to be getting better every game on offense. His defense needs work...especially recovering to the wings, he digs down to deep at times and doesn't run back to his man. Lauderdale, Hank and French look like at least they belong on a D1 team.

Both can be true.  We’re young and that was a bad loss.  Although we are playing 3 RS Freshmen we also are playing a few senior and juniors too.  I’d go more with inexperienced with each other vs truly young.

Either way based on who LIU appears to be that’s a bad loss.  Maybe LIU is better than their rankings.

I guess it's good that YouTube TV completed f'ed up my DVR recording of this game (starts playing and then skips to whatever is live on CBS Sports right now) so I can't watch this defensive disaster.
