  1. I was looking at the U MAs bulletin board, but no report there.
  2. Bob87, You could skip a couple of your road rps, or Met games to give the dough to UA and be comfortably in on tix!!
  3. Whomever UConn recruits is going to present problems for the Danes. They're recruiting at another level than we can normally attain.
  4. It's in Albany, but as stated before, it's closed.
  5. I guess the only thing I can say is that this is the norm, not the exception. Since going to Coaches vs. Cancer at Florida last year, I get the Florida ticket package info, and they have $ amounts much greater than $2500, just to get tickets to certain games. UCONN is the same. I guess you have to put the shoe on the other foot. If you had donated 2500 or more, would you be upset if you couldn't get aticket and someone who gave less? Assuming you've been giving smaller amounts for many years, the lifetime giving will get you a ticket. When we never had a chance for the NCAAs, this obviously wasn't an issue. I prefer having the issue.
  6. I think it's free. I'll be running back and forth between volleyball and bb.
  7. I'm not sure. Nov. 3 is also Senior night for the Voleyball team. I'm trying to get confimation.
  8. I'm not upset in the least, I just wondered if you'd tell your daughter, if you had one, that her games ae unwatchable. I could say that the fact there is a wnba, mans it mst be watchable. It's certainly a different game than the men, without a doubt, but it is competitive and watchable. In Hartford, the women's crowds are larger than the men's. I guess I am slightly annoyed that you bother to post on a thread where people hqave an interest in the women, that you don't. Why not just ignore the thread entirely?
  9. Can't wait until you tell that to your daughter.
  10. I was there early enough to see about 6 minutes. I'm not sure who the newcomers are yet. Gia Sanders was impressive and mikus looked to be in better condition and looked quicker to me.
  11. There's an update on the site (Oct. 20)
  12. The exhibition game is Nov. 3, against a much better Canadian team than last year's. The name escapes me, sorry.
  13. Brent Wilson played for most of the scrimmage. You could see him walking gingerly when time was out. I spoke with Ross, he said his mri was good. I assume that means his mcl isn't torn. The play was ragged, but everyone looked pretty good. The frshmen aren't in game condition yet. Gifford and Yocum both have nice hands.

  15. I see the UA rugby club beat Siena 52-7. That was a major butt kicking.
  16. In both losses, we gave up a first down on fake punts. That can't happen again.
  17. GD84, we will not ave the best frontcourt in the league. I'm hoping they'll be better than last year, which they should be. The AE is a very good league on the women's side. We need to improve a lot to get into the top half.
