Here are Wednesday’s probable starting lineups:

UAlbany (6-8 overall, 1-1 league): Sr. G Brian Lillis, 6-5 (13.4 ppg, 4.9 rpg); Fr. G Josh Martin, 6-2 (6.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg); Jr. F Brian Connelly, 6-8 (10.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg); Sr. F Brent Wilson, 6-8 (9.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg); Fr. C Al Turley, 6-7 (2.2 ppg, 2.2 rpg).

And yet,

On the injury front, Brown said freshman point guard Josh Martin (knee) will begin rehabilitation after the Stony Brook game and could return to practice in three weeks. Brown said sophomore guard Reid Anderson, who had played only four games, is likely to miss the season because he has bilateral stress fractures in both feet. No decision has been made on redshirting Anderson.

Hmm? Not to be a stickler, but it would nice to have the lineup correct :)

This game will be very tough for UA tonight. Stony Brook always plays us tough, and it seems like just about every game goes down to the wire. It may be difficult for us to get "up" for this game after the tenacious game against UVM. And we have a target on our back.

Agreed olddog. I'm just hoping that we can use the last game for momentum to carry us through the rest of the season. For some time, I've felt that Lillis/Wilson were not being loud enough/in everyones faces enough. They're standup, blue collar players who are great reflections of what a basketball player should model him or herself after. But leadship wise, this was their first test. However, after Coach's last comments, hopefully this will change. If Jerell can step in and provide us with around 10 points a game this will be a HUGE boost. If Jerell steps up and this allows Martin to rehabilitate his leg/rest, this will be huge for the team, and I would love if we had the luxury of bringing Josh off the bench with Jerell starting. I think that having Martin or even Jerell in our second unit actually producing could be reminiscient of the energy boost that Ross brought last year in the late second half. It would be a major bummer to see us lose this game to Stony. Hopefully we can make it 2 in a row - our first back-to-back win since Lehigh and Sacred Heart (we won 4 in a row at that time). That's actually pretty mind-boggling that it has been so long. No game will be easy in this conference and this one is crucial.

80-64, via game tracker. Says Lillis with 19 points, B. Wilson with 18 points. Looks like a very solid road win!
