The season goes on....next up is the game on Tuesday against Penn.

 

Penn is winless on the season (0-5) with losses against Penn St. Nova, Delaware, Drexel and Navy.

 

If this team want's to get back on track they must start to play some defense, the last two games the defense was extremely poor.

DP have you been to the Palestra before? Made my 1st trip there last week- it’s an awesome arena- absolutely loved all the pictures in the corridors

Smoky Joe's is another good pre or post game spot near the Palestra. When the place is full(which it won't be tomorrow) and the games is close, there is no better place to watch college hoop.

Changes coming!

The only thing I didn't like from that article was the fact that the Will Harris did not know of the changes that were to come. It is never good that the media knows first about changes before the players do. That goes for all sports.

It doesn't sound like they've worked on the new look, that might be why the players haven't heard about it.

 

If I remember there was a lot of talk about moving Will Harris to power forward during the off-season. He can create a lot of problems from that spot. If it happens it'll be interesting to see who moves into the SF spot.

Nice to see the change, but I'd like to see Harris stay at the 3, because he can shoot from downtown. Put Ambrose at the point, insert Aronhalt at the SG, go with Urli and Lindfors in the front court.

Timmy at the PG? 176 TOs in 69 career games give me a break. Can you really see Timmy defending the 1?

 

Billy Allen SG? He isn't quick enough and can't guard a 2. He hasn't proven he can score and definitely can't penetrate from the wing. Billy so far at UA has shot.259 (21/81) from the floor and .224 (13/58) from 3. Billy would be better off defensively and offensively at the 4 - especially in AE play.

I meant Aronhalt since Barrazza is out. Tim can handle the point and he may turn it over, just like Johnson will but he will at least be able to score 15 a game from the point which Johnson can't do. So you'd be putting more points up with Ambrose at the PG position.
