My lady and I were heading down to Maryland for New Years to visit friends. Going down the 28th with our purple and gold and our friends to the game. Totally jacked. Got tickets off stub-hub for $17 a ticket. 10th row, corner section near UA bench.

Looking for a solid effort and to be competitive tonight. I understand they are getting two kids back that they expect to be contributors one of whom is playing in his second game after an injury. I was reading the papers down there this morning, the PG coming off of a broken foot, while good is not in game shape yet. The big Ukranian kid while talented will be playing his first D1 game and was reported to be nervous.

 

Maryland has struggled mightily with some bad teams, Radford, Mt St. Mary's. This could be a good opportunity to pick up our first BCS win in the history of our program.

 

Anything less then a competitive game will be a huge disappointment.

Wish I could join you, but I am saving vacation time for warmer weather and the baseball Danes in Febuary. Anyway hope you get to see a good game.

Maryland has not played a road game this year. That's pretty wild. They won't go on the road until conference play in January.

 

The stat that worries me is they've shot more than 30 free throws per game in their last three games. I suspect that will continue tonight.

 

Realtime RPI has them favored by 7.
