These blackout/whiteouts dont work in small arenas like this. And if they were to really do it they need to give out shirts to all the fans. Cant expect people to wear their own black or white shirt. Remember the whiteout for the bpg in 2009?

I know that the first 1,000 in the building are getting a shirt, but they should really give them out to everyone who walks in if they want it to work. Not even half of the student section will get there early enough to get one.

I give them some credit for trying something. I'll play along tonight. Honestly I'll be happy if we get people to wear purple for the BPG.

Speaking of clothing choices, it's been a little bizarre to see so many people in Siena sweatshirts walking around the Cue. I've been seeing them off an on this year but I'm still surprised every time it happens.

As for the game tonight. We seem to have a bunch of really nice kids who play smart basketball and represent the school well but I'd like to see a little more of mean streak out of the gate tonight. I thought we got bullied on our own floor against UVM in the first half and I hope we learned something from it.

I get ripped every time I say this, but I fault the league for allowing this type of play. Brown and his staff recruit good kids who play good basketball, but most of the rest of the AmEast recruit/coach/teach/play a brand of basketball that relies on physical brutality over finesse and skill. I don't know, maybe all conferences are like this, i.e. play differently ooc than in league play. It just seems UA always has one of the best ooc records of AmEast teams {even in there bad years}, but this does not always transfer to league success.

Being physically aggressive doesn't necessarily mean assault or brutality. You can play aggressively without playing dirty.

Vermont has played us so physically aggressive that they suffocated most of our offensive sets. They blanketed every guy, they were AGGRESSIVE, in our face, and were relentless for 40 minutes. We didn't come close to matching them in the first game, came closer in the 2nd game.
