Very happy with this choice... Good hire...do we know if he can recruit? - Clickclack

How can you evaluate it as a good hire if you don't know if he can recruit?????

I can like what little I know considering other candidates like keeler and in house candidates were viewed IMO in worse light. Here's another thought... How about you not be a smart ass... Next time just answer the question if you have something constructive to add instead of your usual sanctimonious bs.

Others can answer this better I'm sure but he did have some players from Duquense go to the NFL. The fact that he got a MAAC football team ranked in the FCS top 25 (IAA at the time) is enough to sell me that he can coach.

I read some great stories on him. He entered 2 losing programs and turned them around. The high school was 0-10 and Duquesne was in the toilet. He left both programs with huge winning percentages.

UB was looking at him a couple years back. I can try to post that article. They praised him up and down and recruiting apparently is a strong suit.

My two takeaways are recruiting and turnaround expert.

Seton-La Salle posted a 28-10-1 record and made three WPIAL playoff appearances in Gattuso's three seasons, highlighted by a WPIAL AAA Championship and a Parkway "
