This would make some sense as to why the class wasn't announced yet since I thought we were out of scholly's for 18-19. Apparently someone is out.

Yeah, interesting...has anyone heard of someone backing out of their commitment?

Let’s not presume anything.  His coming puts us at 15 guys, which I believe is the limit (and includes Fruscio)

Also, it’s for 1 year so doesn’t mean much to the newcomers.  His coming is great for maturity and leadership.  Miller is an outstanding kid.

I also would not put huge stock in positions   Many teams are going to a hybrid 3-4 guard line up

So, two guys (Fruscio and someone else) would have to pay their own way to squeeze him in? But legally we're allowed up to 15 players on the bench? I guess I just didn't see that happening hence why I assumed someone was leaving.

With a 13 scholarship limit, it means someone is leaving, someone isn't coming, or someone is paying their own way and we will have 15. That's pretty much the only things that I can see as possible here.

We need to have patience until the roster is announced and practice starts. That said, I know I don't have any patience and want answers now! LOL

We may have our answer now.

The Thunderbirds have signed Nathan Fromm from Anchorage Alaska. The 6’5 wing transfers in from Western Wyoming JC where he averaged 20 ppg on 45% from 3 point range. #NMJCMBB #FeelTheThunder

Appears Fromm is going another year of JC. Too bad I liked this player. Looks as if he could have helped from the outside.

Maybe he didn't graduate so he couldn't come yet? He looks like a great addition. We have a bunch of wings, so maybe we can still take him next season with Campbell graduating.

He was a Juco freshman so he could have come if he qualified academically, which I think he did. It could be that he thinks another year will raise his recruiting stock. Who knows?

It's interesting to see the recruiting conversation and who is most excited about guys coming in. I had higher expectations for de Sousa. Also, Reece Brooks Juco numbers are pretty crazy. We'll see how that translates.

He's not coming because of grades, door open possibly in '19...wish him well and hope the coaches stay in touch. Seems like a talented kid on the court.
