@Lowell 1/5

In non-disappointing game notes: great offensive game from Nichols..19 points on 13 shots..including 8-9 from two. Conversely..his T shows he still has some growing up to do. Cremo put up 23..despite not getting a single FT. And nice to see Lands get back on the court..though obviously showed some rust.

Lowell also turns our size advantage against us when Livingston is nailing threes from the outside. It drags Stire and Rowley away from the hoop.

I forgot Lowell swept Vermont last season.

Curious to see how this team responds this week down on the island.

Thomas is such a tough match-up. Would consistently drive from the perimeter and beat the big man guarding him..causing our guard to slide and leave a shooter open. Can then go small to cover him..but then it forces you to negate your size advantage. Guess that's why he's a First-Team type player.

Did anyone notice that UA ranks next to last in the country in shot blocks? I don't see much intimidation on the drives by our bigs.

Undersized and not very athletic... Kid like lulka is going to get a chance to play.

You stole my line. Tsk Tsk.

I know Brown hates playing zone and I hate second guessing him. But it is seems obvious this group of players is not cut out for man-to-man. Should a coach force his philosophy on them, even when they do not seem to have that ability, temperament, whatever?? Shouldn't he game plan to their abilities and skills?? I hate to second guess Brown, he has been too successful over the years and I ain't no coach. But it seems when they have tried the zone a few times this year, they were successful? Anyhow simply blog questioning and arm chair coaching.

Brown said it himself, he's a stubborn SOB. Greatest and worst attribute ever.

Just got done watching the game on replay. Well that was a waste of my time.

Got beat like a red headed step child...surprising we were so close to winning with a piss poor effort on D like that.

Anyway...stats for the game. Trend continues. If we don't out rebound AND get to the line a ton, we lose (if we only do one of those). If we do both, we win. On to the next one.
