I think to me that's the most disappointing...the defense is every bit as bad as last year. Once there is an initial beat of the dribble no one rotates over to cut off the driver.

It's position.  They are completely out of position almost every single possession.  Unfortunately that's coaching.  If we were playing Kansas you could blame it on being more atheltic.  But UMass is a bottom A10 team.

I hate being negative, especially this early , but I think we can all see it.

Just going to say it, and nothing has changed since last season: Killings has absolutely ZERO idea on how to coach defense.  ZERO.  It's Binging pathetic, I don't care that UMASS is an A-10 team.  His rotations are trash, and the players look lost.  It's honestly CYO level

impossible to sugarcoat...the man just can't coach, it's that simple. There's nothing there...they are lost.

4-11 from the free throw line? That's all you need to see. I've coached 5th grade teams that shoot better than that from the line.

I want to stay positive and realize that this is just the first half of the first game, but when the issues are identical to last year you can't expect any different results.

No one loves this more than Brown...so petty, I love it.

Facts.  We were just talking about this in our senior management retreat meetings last week: everyone wants the title, and that comes with expectations and having to put in the work.
