Boo-Yah!

UAlbany fans help us officially welcome mid year signee Mike Madaras (UMD / Good Counsel, MD) to the #PURPLEFAM #CAAFB#NSD #GC

Also, I looked closely, and thought this one said "LCC":

So here's the list so far. It's been a bang-up job by this new staff, and the old staff. WOW...what a group. Instantly a better program with this class and the RS then we were last season. Hopefully tougher as well. Turnor Echols and Dershante Thompson...that would be icing on the cake. Both are big time players.

I am not sure what position they are playing Malachi Hoskins because the twitter feed I saw didn't list him as a DE or WR. They did say we recruited 3 OLB's...so my guess is based on his size...that's what he's been recruited to play.

Great group...and welcome to the Purple Fam. I will update this as new signings come in...

Elliot Croskey RB 6'1 200 CBA; Albany, NY

Dan Harding QB 6'4 215 (Sierra College)/Nazareth H.S.; Nazareth, PA

Lukas Repetti TE 6'5 235 White Plains; White Plains, NY

Zee Roberson WR 6'1 170 East Stroudsburg South; East Stroudsburg, PA

Sam Madaras OG 6'3 315 Good Counsel; Olney, MD

Alec Bowman OG 6'4 280 Paramus Catholic; Paramus, NJ

Fousenni Troare- NO INFO!!!

So, before people get crazy...I think the Dan Harding signing is brilliant. Gives Shanley some time to adjust...and he will have to adjust to college. I wouldn't be surprised to see Fiacchi transfer if he doesn't step up to the plate. Dan Harding was the Pennsylvania AAAA 2011 player of the year. He's got a funky motion but he wins.

Is he coming in as a soph or jr?

Mike will be a Jr. Two years with us.

He's RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. He had a down year...and I think it was a Coach/Player issue. He's so good that it was a "GET" for Maryland. He started as a Frosh...and destroyed people. Last year he sunk back a bit.
