6 wins, a .500 season with essentially the same team. It's been a successful season. Stony Brook will be a tough game...but if we can pull one out versus UD, and SBU...we are in a place we'd never thought we'd be in with essentially the same team as last season.

Nice job by Gattuso.

Just curious, they could review the interception in the first half when it was called an incomplete pass and they could review the touchdown at the end of the game for time but they couldn't review the Omar Osbourne "fumble." Meh.

It's fun to not play particularly well and still win the game. Especially against a decent team.

I'm curious as to what calls went UA's way. When the refs were exiting they had to walk by the Colgate fans and one guy was just killing them. Very angry and quite honestly classless. The only thing I could think of was one 15 yarder which I think was a celebration penalty in the 4th quarter.

Check out this elitist crap...lol

"These are the ones I have more fun in," Gattuso said. "They're supposed to kick our butts. We're nobody. They're established. Great. We love it. That's the funnest game."

-UAlbany coach Greg Gattuso

How can you be 'nobody' in the CAA? How can you be 'nobody' with scholarships? How can you be 'nobody' with a new stadium? Shows you that our 120+ years of football has gotten us to losing to the likes of a state school, unfortunately.

I think the Colgate fan was confused here; This quote was about UNH next week...not Colgate. And Gatusso's point makes sense. We should lose that game on paper. However, if this team plays tough, and we manage the game well at the QB position, we have a shot.

I'm with you, that was about the UNH game. You can see the way Coach Gattuso is going to sell that UNH game to our guys. We have nothing to lose going up there. Really, considering how tough SBU played New Hampshire yesterday we should be encouraged.

24 teams make the playoffs, eleven autobids. This was probably our best win of the year, so I think we need three of the next four to get an at-large (that is, beat one of UNH or 'nova).

I just watched the replay, and I think Fiacchi had a pretty good day - 9 of the first ten were completions, one drop right in Gontarek's hands, the INTs were a harmless Hail Mary at the end of the half, and after a blind-side hit that was first ruled incomplete (until our first-ever official use of replay at BOFO). One overthrow down the left side the announcers thought there might've been interference, which would've thrown the timing off. Maybe Colgate's coverage wasn't as good as he's seen, but I don't know how he could've had a much better game.
