Albany isn't in top 5 because Albany needs a PG and bigs with 3 graduating. He doesn't fit a need and isn't a PG.

I hate secrets on a message board.  The recuit who verbally committed is Will Amica.

City Rocks tweeted he committed last night.  Just watched this video of him in NYS high school playoffs and their class AA ship.  Gets to the line and hits regularly, good handle, nice crossover.  PG of the future!

Thanks... Sometimes you hear things and not sure if public yet and don't want to steal the kids thunder.

Dynamic pg, winner, at a huge position of need after this year. Important get.

This is who I hoped for, and expected.  I echo Click; I don't want to steal the kid's thunder (or our Coach).

It's an important recruit for us; this kid has the potential to be a 3 year starter, he's got that kind of talent.  He fills an important need as he is a true PG, something, with all due respect to Hooley and Clarke, we haven't had since Mike Black.  With all of the pieces we have now...this is the piece we needed to facilitate for those guys.

Now onto bigs to replace Lauderdale and Hansen when they graduate.

That's a great get. At least 2 more players to find.

To me the elephant in the room is the grad transfer rule. Does anyone know if you can play 2 years at a new school when using the grad transfer rule? Has it been done before?

I think I remember Brown saying at some point last year that the Aussies were such great students that they may be able to graduate at the end of this year. Does that mean there "could" be a need to replace 1-3 more bodies?

You would have to imagine that Healy would be super attractive to a top school with 2 years to play.
