See it a lot if defense pressures the inbound. Can only be done after a made basket, though, not after an out of bounds

That was fun to watch at the end.  Stole one.  I thought they waited too long to foul Columbia's PG with 20 seconds left but it turned out alright.  de Sousa with some big shots, Lauderdale with a huge tip on the inbounds and then the foul on Healy sealed it.  Brown was pumped.  I liked to see it.  I know this team has some warts but they play hard and don't give up.  I think de Sousa is only going to get better.  I thought he played excellent defense tonight on Columbia's best player.  The announcers seemed to think so too. I really hope they start to click offensively because I think it's a good group of kids who really care and put max effort.

Didn't that kid have 26 pts? I know like 12 were at the line but still...

you have to love Healy ... seventh in the nation from the free throw line ... makes the first, misses the second intentionally to kill the clock/seal the win ... unselfish, team-first guys are great to have ... 😉

Say what you will but CB being real. Same emotions we all feel almost every game but he puts it more elequently. They didn't play well but they won.

That was a thrilling game. Really happy they pulled it out, in spite of the scoring droughts. Can't think of a better way to go in to conference play than with a grind it out win like this.

Agreed. Hopefully this is a spring board for an amazing conference run. We were 9-7 in conference some of the years we danced, so if we go on a run and dance, no one will care that we were 7-8 (or 6-8 too the D3 haters lol) in OOC.

Highlight of the game for me was Lauderdale being ready to defend after Clark lays it in. The score to tie is obviously huge, but I want my kids team to watch Lauderdale.

Also, de Sousa's family (along with a bunch of us) were all over the refs to check the clock after the late whistle on the intentional foul on Rizzuto. The second they added back on was big!

I'm learning to wait until the end of the game to post. We won . That's the good news. We are a below average team at best. That's the bad news. I still say when Lulka comes back to play small. We dont rebound well anyway. I think playing small will force some mismatches on the offensive end. We are inept at scoring the ball.

The unexplainable:

According to the TU we had 53 points with 1 minute to go.  We scored 14 in one minute?  And 53 in 39 minutes (and 9 of those were early).  How can we be that bad and that good at the same time?
