I wasnt speculating, just trying to be a realist. Unfortunately, in today's world so many players transfer each year. That's why I wanted to be clear that I hope no one does. I'm just curious when those announcements normally come from the team.

What would the team have done this year if Lands didn't leave? Transfers happen. Obviously us fans don't need to know, but recruiting and knowing what spaces we have is part of the fun of following the team in the off season. Gives us something to chat about, debate, and waste too much time.

I'm pretty sure that's our role in those whole thing, isn't it?. We're not players and we're not coaches. We watch youtube clips and look up the 3pt percentages of our recruits. Then next year we'll d

Not much to go on with the Lauderdale commitment but that doesn't always mean anything. Good size and if he can shoot from distance that's a great asset. He checks the marks in the skill areas for a big - nearly 80% from the free throw line and 40% from three.

My understanding is that he excels operating in the mid 15+ feet out range...

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread

At least two players are leaving Albany. Neither have received releases yet but once they do we'll announce them and add them to the list.

Just based on minutes played this last season, incoming class and years remains to play....I would think Conway and Clark would be most likely. Like you all I hope the Aussies are all coming back.

Just an opinion; but I would think Cochran is one of the transfers. He was supposedly totally healthy and yet got pretty much NO playing time; even though their was minutes available at his position?

Its Conway and Cochran as per Verbal Commits.  I'm ok with that.

If its gotta be two, then those are probably best case scenario names to list. Neither got a lot of PT. I was looking forward to seeing what Cochran could do as he healed. He looked like he could be explosive and a special player. Conway could shoot, and there was definitely minutes available for him next season, I do not know if he is built to be a power forward in D1 ball. He either had to bulk up, or move to the 3, and I am not sure if he had the ball handling skills to play the wing.

I think both could have done big things at UA and wish they weren't leaving, but I wish them both the best. Hopefully they find a spot where they will get minutes, contribute to a teams success, and enjoy using their abilities to get a great free college education.

LOL...lots of work to do.

PG position is Clark, Healey

SG position 1 if they throw Rizzuto in there

SF position 2 Campbell and DeSousa

PF position Lulka and Luaderdale

C position Hanks

The way I see it need at least 2 more guards a wing and 2 more bigs. Right now the roster is 1 senior, 2 juniors and 5 freshman.
