Post game radio interview Brown said his players were poised (outside of the failed dunk) and he hopes to continue going forward and not take a step back at Binghamton. He said his players seem to be getting on a roll except for Rowley and they have to figure out a way to help him get back into scoring.

Who missed a dunk?

Nichols attempted a big tomahawk on a breakaway..but it clanked off the back iron. Would've pushed the UAlbany lead up to 12..instead UNH went back and hit a three to close the gap to 7.

Lol Nichols is a mad man and I love it.

Does anyone remember when Derek Tartt had a fast break and missed a layup (I forgot who they were playing) and everyone said he should have just dunked it? It ended up being a big swing and they wound up losing.

Yeah, that missed layup cost us the game and his career...he was in a total free fall after that move. Was never the same again.

That was at Central Connecticut. It was right in front of me.

I was there also and it stunk. I hope you don't remember me falling down the steps of the bleachers and almost onto the court towards the end of the game because that was embarrassing.

Ive been trying to be patient with Rowley because seems like a good kid & his brother was such a huge part of past UA success but you guys are right! I'm pretty certain he was touted (from Coach Brown) as "more athletic" than Sam!?!? I thought he could at least occasionally be the #3 scorer!! He's been a huge disappointment. Have been waiting a long time to see if his "potential" ever came out. Obviously not. I think he's a liability as a starter. Should be used to give Stire a breather & nothing more at this point.

Like I said before .... Brown did not sub for like the last 10 mins... The group of Stire ...Dallas...Campbell...Cremo ....And Nichols shot something like 75 percent . He may have found something there. I think that lineup may free Dallas up for some more open looks. Teams know by now that Rowley is not going to score and as well as Travis has played offensively , he really does not play well Defensively ...

this team...I just don't get it haha

I'm with you on this score. UA builds up a big lead at SBU, then collapses, but at least it was close at the end. Then loses by a bigger margin at home later on. Loses at home to UNH, but posts a big win on the road later on. Will the real UA team please stand up?!

I like Charles coming off the bench. And I like 1882's final five [best free throw line up minus Stire, who we need for stops and rebounds @ the end.] Would not mind seeing this group together more. But would still start Rowley, bring Charles off the bench for instant offense and sprinkle in 1882's 5, especially in crunch times.

ps I remember Brown touting Rowley as someone who could stretch the D with his 3 point shooting. Either it was a bluff, he never had 3, or he lost it from lack of use. Maybe he tried to become Sam, {or was forced by staff into that roll}; but I still think he plays good D and rebounds well, even though I do not know why this year he can't make a lay-up?
