Very unfortunate. Killings does not seem like the type of guy to get into a players face in a negative way.  Very interesting.

Hoping he was just defending himself from a player who charged him and it was nothing more. I too can't see DK assaulting a player.

Of course who knows but if this is true it's bad :

Per Samurai Sources, Dwayne Killings will be relieved of his duties at Albany following the Final Four. Albany AD Mark Benson reportedly going to give Killings an opportunity to depart on his own.

Again just allegations but the AD and the coach are tied together.  If the coach goes so does the AD. But we all know that won't happen.

Right now this is all being posted by the above source...soon enough this will get corroborated if true. Why is Benson not fired if DK is gone...those two are tied at the hip. It's amazing that Benson can continue to oversee the destruction of UA athletic department and continues to be the AD. What's it going to take to move on from him if this is true?

Just thinking ....Dwayne Killings and MBB has been very quite since the season ending loss in the quarterfinal ..... only one Instagram posting, for a players birthday, since season ended  no local news media stories either ....is he out recruiting?  Interesting no posting about March Madness Fund Drive on Instagram unlike other sports .... may just be overwhelmed by the success of WBB.....

Rumor mill swirling about what Benson's role was in this whole process.  This is all unfortunate.

If Benson did what rumors are stating, he should go as well.

As for Killings, if allegations are true...you can't lay your hand on a kid. I can only imagine how this went down and quite frankly, unless he was defending himself...then he has to go.

Anything other then self defense...Fire both DK and the AD who brought him in. Enough of Benson.

Like someone said it will set the program back 5 years.  But if there is a silver lining if Benson is gone then it's all not bad.
