Just looking at their record and the teams that they have won against, Florida Atlantic is no Presbyterian.

Florida Atlantic is capable of two or more scoring runs, so our scoring cannot disappear for five to ten minutes segments or this game is in the L column.

This is a loss. Let's be real.

Absolutely.  Florida beat our old friend SBU by 36 and FAU beat Florida.  Will be ugly. By the way, anyone notice that both UA and SBU have fallen precipitously in both football and basketball (SBU up and down since Pikeill left)the last few years?   Just coincidence?  Lousy AD's( Hielbron, Benson)? Football coaches not fired sooner(Priore, Gattuso)? Basketball staff changes year after year?

Just a black eye on SUNY D1 athletics from these two schools.

This game is strictly about practicing against a better opponent and hopefully getting ourselves better (basically - prep for conference play). I have no idea how we managed to get them to agree to come to Albany but hey...

VCU

That VCU game was a return game from the previous season due to ESPN Bracketbuster format they did for a few years. The following Bracketbuster was a game vs Boise St and they came to SEFCU the following year.

They were a Top 45 team back then.  No matter the conference.

I asked conference profile. If we want to go team then pretty sure Bucknell was top 30 in 2007. Conference USA is clearly a shell of its old self though.

FAU team members can go holiday shopping after the game without palms. It will be a cultural experience for them.
