Game #10: 12/10/23 - 7PM vs Temple (NABC Brooklyn Showcase)

Team is light years better than next year.  I think we are a year away...but if Killings can keep this core around, always difficult in this era, then we could be very special next year.

Some strange calls..like that one on Marshall.  It was a clear block.

Reddish still needs to learn to not go for highlight stuff...cost us at least 6 points so far.  That said, he is a talent.

Only 1 more home game (12/19 - Sacred Heart) until the second game of the conference season on 1/13 (Bing). This early season has been hard with so much travel. I get it, we need some buy games and we weren't sure the arena would be ready until after the schedules were completed, but this grind has to be hard on the team.

They definitely look MUCH better than last year, and have been exciting to watch. Still way too many turnovers, too many missed layups/easy shots, and a defensive efficiency that puts them near the bottom of D1 (not LCC bottom, but Q4 at #283) so while there is plenty to be excited about, there is still a lot of work to do before we "Bring on the America East" and Vermont/UML have anything to fear.

Keep improving, keep running, and let the W's pile up! It feels nice to have some teams winning again!

First half TO’s and the fact that temple physicality just too much for UA tonight. #33 on temple looked 33 years old and recently retired from the NFL.

And of course final score difference directly related to points from foul line 22of32 vs 14of 18 (@ least our %age made was good)

I was thinking the same thing. He’s from Belgium and is listed at 6-5 260. Basically Charles Barkley size. Temple is his third stop.

Was he as good at rebounding as the Round Mound of Rebound?
