Anybody have an update on Geraldo Suero? Did he even play basketball anywhere this past year (2010-2011)? Has he started classes @ UA to get a head start? These questions have been asked before, but I do not recall seeing any answers.

Edit: just looked at my notes, he didn't play in '10/11 trained in the Dominican Republic, he did not start classes early but will be on campus with the rest of the crew this summer.

Yeh he played JC if memory serves, he did not start classes early but will be on campus with the rest of the crew this summer.

 

If he did play JC in 2010-11, where? and how did he do? This guy is really a mystery, may be he is so good we are keeping him totally secret or are there ellegibility issues?

Reasonably certain, do you think he'll be getting one? I'm not saying he should or shouldn't get one. Obviously he added value to the rotation/team last season even though his start was a bit shaky. He got better as the season progressed but last year he wasn't on scholarship.

Can't find much in the way of stats on Hooley but he has a lot of international experience. His U20 national team is loaded with guys coming to school in the US - Boise State, New Mexico, Laffette and Butler.
