Looks today like they are putting up the forms for the base of the elevator tower.

They have also staked out the North Endzone bowl to start the real excavation and build-up of the bowl. That will make a huge visual difference.

I can't wait to see that tower start to rise out of the ground.

North endzone bowl is really starting to take shape today. Turning the corner on the trench which appears to be holding the lower stadium wall.

Also - OT - Stony Brook had 10,000+ at their homecoming this week. Even more proof this level of football can draw a great crowd. I'm excited that we can do the same.

What is it, two more weeks 'till home coming? Hopefully they will let people get a good peek at the progress.

Any bets on if the old soccer scoreboard will be down by Saturday?

Wasn't shown on the prelim sketches, but maybe they'll just leave it there as a secondary scoreboard. Or save it and move it. Or not.

BTW the Fuller Road roundabout was scheduled to open today. Anyone know if it's ready?

It's coming down. It's right in the way of the player ramp to run down onto the field.

Definitely coming down, but with all this noticeable recent activity, coming down by Saturday might happen...I love me that webcam; can't wait to see it all on Saturday.

I'll walk over with you...we'll hold hands and sing kumbaya...

Yesterday, I noticed the Fuller Rd. closing date on the electronic signs was changed to the 25th.

I'm a guy who's never been to an NFL or big time football stadium...I know...I should go catch an NFL game or something but...having just returned from campus I marvel at the scale of this thing. Granted I'm ignorant to what a big time stadium looks/feels like but even with just the foundation work being done it's seems massive to my myopic mind.

I mean you can't even begin to compare it to University "field"...this just feels MUCH bigger/grandiose and I know it's really not compared to other facilities around the country. Can't wait to see it completed but enjoying every bit of the construction process watching it all take shape.
