Recruiting - 2015

Recommended Posts

Mike would be a pretty solid coup for us on a one year deal, if he wants to make the tourney and puts is head down and works hard. Guy is a solid man in the middle. He would instantly allow M. Rowley to play PF...and with Peters and Thorn...we'd have some serious beef inside.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see him transfer to a BCS school looking to plug a hole.

Word around campus is that Wake Forest has expressed interest, but at that point he might as well stay here at Charlotte. We have a much better shot winning CUSA with a new coach than Wake Forest does at getting an at large bid. As long as he stays, we don't release our prized recruit, and our 2 good freshman don't transfer, we will be a top 3 team in CUSA next year. But if I was going to transfer with 1 year of eligibility, without having to sit, I'd go somewhere that is built to win now. He could come in and be a force in the AE on an already loaded team.

Eric Paschall may leave Fordham. Atlantic 10 rookie of the year. He led Fordham at 16.5 ppg and ranked sixth in the A-10 in scoring as a freshman.

Is allowed to speak to a limited number of schools, but has not been granted his full release from Fordham.

6'6" Guard. Will have to sit out a year.

He's going MUCH higher than Albany. I've seen him play a few times. That kid is a BCS player. Huggins may look to snag him, as will Providence, two schools that offered him out of high school. He'd also fit in well at VCU and ODU.

Cremo and Scotia lost in Federation Tourney today at SEFCU. 68-63 in OT. Cremo had 28 and Scotia had foul trouble most of the game according to reports.

Canisius is pretty much like Noah's Ark, two of everything and Scotia is not deep at all.

Still, back to back state titles isn't a bad way to go out and Cremo played his heart out. I'm glad he'll be back on that same court in a couple of months.
