I thought of that...but unless it is coming from Mario Cuomo's estate, it would be a major violation for a sitting Governor to donate to an entity that he has control over.

Jim Casey, Founder of UPS and there is a charitable foundation in his family's name. Dont see the Albany connection though.

Let's not forget that it might have someones name but might be backed by someone completely different. That is always a possibility too, right? Like, "in honor of" I'll give $10M for this person to get their name on something type deal.

Well thought out and CORRECT!!!! Also great job with figuring out part of the name....you most likely will not know the name of the stadium folks BUT you will or should know the donor.....all to end soon!!!!

I have no clue but this has been one of the more entertaining threads we've had in a while.

 

By the way, I think Billy Fuccillo played football for Syracuse. I can't imagine him associating with us. Plus, that sign his waaay too small for him. It wouldn't be a sign anyway for Fuccillo, it would just be his face up on the stadium.
