Vermont ran over UMass Lowell in the second half....Vermont at home will certainly not allow UAlbany to do what UMass Lowell did to Vermont in first half today.  Roger mentioned a few times UAlbany is attempting to schedule a non conference game before Vermont.  I would like that to happen.

Uvm is 15pt favorite according to kenpom...needless to say it will take a miracle to win at a place we haven't won for years.

UVM can absolutely be dominant in empty Patrick Gym....Will UVM try to send a message with the UAlbany game?  Yes.... UPDATED 12-28-2020 after additional comments down below....Covid - 19 has forced changes on teams that make figuring out where things are headed ... UVM lost NJIT provides some hope....question is: Can UAlbany play 40 minutes?

Patrick gym has always been a 6th man when packed.  They may or may no be dominant, but lose that extra edge.

NJIT just beat Vermont at Vermont in 2OT with a ridiculously ugly last second play.  

UMBC lost to Binghamton at home.

If those two teams are actually decent...with the direction of our program, could be rough times ahead for us without any evolution of the program...

One thing I noticed was the amount of off the ball movement, that we don't see nearly as much in our gym.

Now that my beloved Heat are back in business in the NBA, I had the same thought recently. Our style of basketball is BORING. It's a game of hot potato.

There seems to be a lot more parity in the league this year.

UVM is 2-2 with losses to UML and NJIT

SBU is 4-0

UNH is 2-0

UMBC is 3-1 (lost to Bing)

Hartford (2-2) looks strong, but lost twice to NH

UA is 0-2 but only lost both games by a combined total of 6 points. 

Pretty surprising league start.
