Football Transfer Portal (Going and Coming In)

Only guy I can find in the portal right now is OL Kevin Singer who entered back in October. Figure be a good place to keep track of guys coming and going with the program.

Where is the portal link...so we can monitor...is it available for general public?

They need to create more rules or laws for the portal. Since this is basically free agency, it needs to be treated with contracts. Can only leave for certain criterias or documented broken promises. Or need to meet certain stats to be able to opt out. 

Recruiting these kids to only have them leave in a year or two is costing smaller programs like ours money. Probably lots of it.

Agree. But you realize the opposite is happening. Courts just shot down rule that made 2nd time transfers rule more difficult. Two months of absolute FREE range, while ncaa tries to figure something out??? Right now can transfer anywhere any # of times totally no restrictions. 
 

lcc has a kid in their starting line up tonight who has been denied 3 times to get his second transfer wait waved😝

One of the QB's also entered - the guys who have done so see the handwirtting on the wall. Singer has never played.

They are going after a bunch in the portal - check the recruiting I have posted.  New guys entering all the time too.

As a former assistant under Coach Bob Ford said to me concerning coaching in the transfer portal, "A Head Coach and his assistants need to recruit all the time."

By the way, I believe the contact period for players is this Wednesday and then there is the no-contact dead period which runs until the portal closes on January 2nd. Portal doesn't re-open again until Mid-April.

So if any guys are going to go from us, it's gonna be very quick.

HOF2013 - Singer actually started 10 games at OG in 2022 but has a history of injuries.    OL Mike Gecik is in the portal.
