What does everyone think about the field expanding to 96 teams. This is most likely going to happen. This obviously puts a lot more incentive on winning the regular season. The NIT will be eliminated and regular season champs will be guaranteed an auto bid.

I think it is horrid. I would be down for expansion to 68 or so...but other than that...blech.

68 would be great. Add three teams and 4 play in games (2 monday, 2 tuesday)instead of just one.

I think people are afraid that they will break something that doesn't need fixing.

logistically those monday games would be a problem for the teams and the fans. 24 hours from the time of the selection announcement to scout a team and get to a site.

I know I would have a problem booking a hotel, getting a ticket, getting time off from work and driving to the site in that short of time.

 

I also don't like 96. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
