Good win overall. Defense looks great. Offense needed work last year, needed work last week, and needs work goin forward.

Hey in case anyone is surprised.......Fiachhi through a high pass again.

 

No way he finishes the season. He looked g-d awful. I doubt Shanley starts next year, so I'd run with Harding or Sweeney at the end of the year if we aren't in any position to make the playoffs.

Honestly I'm not sure it matters...doesn't pass the eye test. Throws high, no check downs, locks in on receivers come hell or high water and never goes through progressions.

 

JMHO of course.

 

EDIT: Just wanted to add that I'm quite happy with where this program is headed and where we are right now. Many young kids playing, talent and athleticism definitely on the up. 2 wins already doubling last years win total. Just didn't want to seem like debbie downer.

The defense has been lights out...and the line is slowly coming along. We still need depth on the OL...and that will most certainly be a focus on recruiting. Though I don't think he had a grab tonight, I love the Grontarek kid. He's got a chance to be a great one for Albany.

Our offense was better than last week. I will take consistent improvement going into an off week.
