Questionable calls at the end, man those refs need to swallow their whistles sometimes. Always want to be apart of the game. And who needs to huddle to make a call..know the call or don't blow the whistle.

No way. I respect Vermont. SB is a bunch of waiver waving cry babies. America East did all they can to make sure they won. Plenty of suspect calls at the end, especially that TBH charge that should have been an and 1. FIXED.

To be honest, I'm happy for Warney and Purifoy. Both are class individuals and deserved this chance to dance. Their fanbase and Pikiel, not so much. UVM fans are the worst though and they have a solid team coming back and should be the favorite so I'm happy they lost this one. Warney was amazing. 43 pts in your final chance at a championship. Stepped up bigtime.

If your two big men are going to foul out, make it count it. I'm not saying hurt someone, but UVM should have put Warney on his ass with one of those fouls. Basketball has become soft and if the refs called the game like they did today in Albany, we would have lost by double digits. Rowley and Stire would have been fouled out in the first half.

So has there ever been a coach to switch jobs within conference? Dare I say homecoming for Brown back to LI if Piekiell leaves???? Top notch facilities, can get at least 500k/year based on what Piekiell was making if he leaves. School has aspirations of moving to FBS one day. Connects at Our Savior...A+ schools on LI.

I was at the game today. Atmosphere was amazing. the team showed pure heart and never panicked, I have family connections to the team and I can tell you the SB players are really nice kids and Pikiell is truly a class act. A great citizen of the community there.

 

Hope they can pick up a second NCAA win for SUNY.

Congrats to Stony Brook. Their senior class has gone through hell in the AE tourney these past few years and they've earned the right to dance.

 

I don't generally have much good to say about Stony Brook but I'll say this. 10 years ago when we won for the first time, our fellow SUNY members in the AE went in two different directions. Bing went quick and dirty by hiring a dirtbag coach who brought in tainted recruits and a scandal. Stony Brook, on the other hand, seemed to build a program the right way. Their fans are still ignorant nitwits but they deserve this one.
